  • The Short Story:  Monday's contest pinned the top two scoring offenses in the PSAC with Indiana(Pa.) ranked first and Edinboro in second. The Fighting Scots scored the first basket of the game, but could not overcome the top-ranked team in Division II and its second-ranked ranked scoring defense. The Crimson Hawks connected on seven 3-pointers in the first quarter and led 31-15 after 10 minutes. The Fighting Scots struggled to make their baskets in the first and second quarter, shooting 32.3 percent (10-of-31). Edinboro trimmed IUP's lead to 13 points midway through the third period, but that's as close the Scots came to the rest of the game. Michaela Barnes paced Edinboro with 23 points, while Ciara Rosten and Jontay Walton scored 13 and 12 points, respectively. IUP is ranked first in the WBCA Division II Top 25. Monday's contest was originally scheduled for Saturday, January 19, but was postponed due to Winter Storm Harper.

The Fighting Scots opened the game in their zone defense, but had to switch to man-to-man halfway through the period.
