THE GAME FACTS
  • Score:  No. 2 Indiana(Pa.) 87, Edinboro 59
  • Records:  Edinboro (9-16, 6-14 PSAC West), IUP (25-2, 18-2 PSAC West)
  • Location:  Edinboro, Pa. – McComb Fieldhouse
  • The Short Story:  There were two teams wearing Edinboro uniforms on Wednesday night, but it was hard not to tell a talented Indiana(Pa.) squad donning Edinboro's away uniforms. The Crimson Hawks left their jerseys back in Indiana, forcing them to borrow Edinboro's uniforms. The second-ranked Crimson Hawks didn't miss a beat, unfortunately for Edinboro. IUP shot 52.3 percent from the floor, making 16-of-35 3-pointers, while Edinboro suffered an off-shooting night at 33.9 percent. Jaryn Simpson led three Fighting scots in double figures with 17 points. With the loss, Edinboro was officially eliminated from PSAC postseason competition. Senior Jack Frank was recognized in pre-game ceremonies on Senior Night.
