EDINBORO, Pa. – The Fighting Scots placed first in five events as the Edinboro men's swimming team suffered a 112-93 against Shippensburg. Edinboro is now 1-3 while Shippensburg is 5-2.
Ted Kinney, Nick Bradford, Jackson Bangert, and Gerardo Ruiz all picked up first place finishes in today's meet.
Kinney posted a time of 22.12 to win the 50-yard freestyle. Bradford recorded a time of 1:59.37 in the 200-yard IM. Bangert won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.50. Ruiz touched first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.74.
In addition, all four first place finishers picked up a win in the 200-yard medley relay team, recording a time of 1:37.65.
The Fighting Scots had seven swimmers register PSAC-qualifying marks. They included:
