Indianapolis – The Edinboro men's basketball team dropped an 88-62 decision to host Indianapolis Thursday afternoon in non-conference action.

With the score tied 13-13 at the midway point of the first half, Will Taylor and Terrence Moore scored back-to-back baskets to put the Scots ahead 17-13. The teams traded baskets before a 5-1 Indianapolis spurt tied the game at 20 with 5:58 to play in the frame.

Josiah Tynes gave the Greyhounds a 22-20 advantage, but Jack Gallagher knotted the game at 22 with a layup at the 4:22 mark. Indianapolis closed out the first half on a 16-4 run to take a 38-26 edge into the half.

The Greyhound lead pushed to 50-29 in the opening four minutes of the second half. Edinboro got to as close a 52-36 at the 14:17 mark of the second, but weren't able to cut into the Indianapolis lead any farther.

Deontae Robertson recorded 24 points, four rebound, two steals and two blocks to pace the Scots. Cyrie Coates was the only other Edinboro player to reach double figures with 10.
