Shippensburg, Pa. – The Edinboro swim teams will see their first action since the calendar rolled over to 2022 with a trip to Shippensburg on Friday.
 
Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots will get in the pool for the first time since the three-day Wooster Invitational Dec. 2-4. Both the men's and women's squads finished fifth.
 
Top Five Finishers
Several Fighting Scots took their place on the Edinboro top 10 lists. Makayla Scheu moved into second all-time in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.85. Ted Kinney moved into fourth on the Fighting Scots all-time list with a time of 20.93 in the 50 freestyle. In the 500 freestyle, Dylan Cossin finished in a time of 4:40.05 to rank fourth in Edinboro history.
 
Coach Rhodes Says
"We had a great two weeks of training. They are tired and torn down, but I am anxious to see them race against some great competition. It will be a great opportunity for us this weekend!"
