Millersville, Pa.-- The Edinboro men's basketball team fell to Millersville University 67-56 on Friday night. With the loss, the Fighting Scots fall to (2-4) overall. 

Early in the first half Edinboro found themselves up 8-2 after two layups from Dominique Keyes and a three-pointer from Naim Miller. A few possessions later Will Taylor slashed to the basket for a basket to keep Edinboro ahead by four points. 

Then with 11:14 in the half, Millersville capped off an 11-0 run with a slam dunk. In the final minute of the first half Jack Gallagher and Taylor each converted in the paint to trim the Marauders' lead. After shooting 32.26% from the field, the Scots trailed 23-29 at the break. 

Edinboro continued to fight early in the second half after a steal from Taylor turned into a three-pointer from Miller on the other end. With 14:10 to play, the Scots got within one point of Millersville after Kierell Green found Taylor in the paint for another layup.  

Following the Edinboro basket, Millersville countered with a 9-0 run and forced a Fighting Scots timeout. Down the stretch, Miller connected on another triple which kept Edinboro within five points. 

Millersville eventually pulled away by converting on five free throws in the final minute as the Marauders won 67-56. 

Miller led all Edinboro scorers with 19 points, including five three-pointers. 

Taylor added in 17 points and six rebounds. 

Edinboro will be back in action tomorrow night at 7:30 pm when they travel to Shepherd University.
