Greensburg, Pa. – The Fighting Scots women earned a 0-0 draw with the Griffins of Seton Hill. The game saw a good amount of chances with Seton Hill having 17 shots in the game, with nine on target. Edinboro had 12 shots with four on target.
Kaylee Lauriel and the Edinboro defense welcomed their first shutout of the season. Lauriel recorded her first collegiate shutout thanks to a career-high nine saves in the game.
Seton Hill began the game having four attempts in the first seven minutes and was unable to convert on the early pressure.
Edinboro improved as the half went on, the last 15 minutes saw four Boro attempts without reply from the Griffins.
Emily Vogel saw the best chance of the game hit the post in the 57th minute. Vogel had three attempts at goal in her 54-minutes played.

Clare Crossley all contributed to the attack with two strikes at goals. Wilson and Crossley both tested the Griffins goalkeeper with shots on target but the efforts were saved.
Seton Hill picked up three yellow cards as the game drew to a conclusion, with three yellows in the last 2 minutes. Edinboro received no yellow cards for the fourth time this season.
The Fighting Scots play away in Indiana, Pa. on Wednesday, Sep. 14. They kickoff against IUP at 4 p.m. Both teams took a victory last season, with the last meeting seeing a seven-goal thriller go the way of IUP.
