Edinboro, Pa. – Edinboro hosts Shippensburg on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. This will be the Fighting Scots first competitive meet in 2023 off the back of their highly competitive Wooster Invitational that brought a close to 2022.
The Wooster Invite saw 57 PSAC cuts, 48 PRs and two top five school performances by
Stephanie Sipple and
Elijah Innis, capping off an excellent three days of competition.
Stephanie Sipple entered the top five in program history for her performance in the 500 Free, with a time of 5:07.69.
Elijah Innis added another top five performance in the 100 butterfly, touching the wall at 51.28.
Shippensburg enter Friday 1-5 on the season, having most recently competed in the Gettysburg Invitational in early December.
Edinboro enter Friday's meet looking to build upon their performances so far this season with two more meets in January against Gannon and Clarion, leading to the PSAC Championships beginning on Feb. 15.
