Erie, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to host Gannon Wednesday afternoon in PSAC West play at McConnell Family Stadium.
Ella Fadale opened the scoring in the 17th minute and the Golden Knights carried the 1-0 lead into the half.
Fadale extended the lead 37 seconds into the second half. Gabby Boden and Jamie Seneca added insurance tallies to set the final.
Gannon tallied 27 shots to nine for the Fighting Scots.
Jenna Jackson led Edinboro with three shots.
Emily Vogel and
Reece Enochs each tallied two shots.
Kaylee Lauriel made nine saves and took the loss in net.
Maxine Crosby added a pair of saves in 19 scoreless minutes.
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they play host PItt-Johnstown at 1 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium. Prior to the contest, the Scots will celebrate senior day.
