Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team will honor a pair of seniors Saturday afternoon when they host Clarion at 1 p.m. inside McComb Fieldhouse.
Senior Day
The Scots will honor seniors
Paula Martinez and
Bella Burrelli prior to the start of the contest Saturday. Martinez has played 11 games this season with five points and eight rebounds. Burrelli has played 63 games over three seasons averaging 7.0 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
Last Time Out
Edinboro dropped a 72-64 decision to visiting Gannon Wednesday night, but still clinched a spot in the PSAC postseason.
Hayley Sims and
Lauren Mullen each scored 17 points. Mullen's was a career-high on a highly efficient 5-of-6 from the field including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Playoff Picture
Edinboro is currently fourth in the PSAC West in a tie with Pitt-Johnstown. The Scots secure a home playoff game with a victory. The third, fourth and fifth seed are still in play for the Scots depending on results of the IUP vs Cal game as well as the UPJ vs Slippery Rock game Saturday.

Scouting the Golden Eagles
Clarion has won back-to-back road games after topping Slippery Rock 75-71 on Wednesday to move to 5-21 overall and 5-16 in the PSAC West. Sierra Bermudez led Clarion with 21 points and six assists against the Rock. Jada Smith added 17 points and Allyson Kirby tallied 10 points.
The Golden Eagles average 56.4 points per game while allowing 68.9. Clarion has been outrebounded by 5.0 boards a game.
Bermudez leads the team in scoring with 13.6 points per game. Smith adds 9.0 and a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game. Ava Haddad adds 8.5 points per game and Kirby chips in 8.3.
