Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots dropped a 4-20 result at home to Gannon University.
The first quarter saw the Golden Knights score 11 goals which set them up for victory. Edinboro scored a goal in each quarter of the game but were unable to mount a comeback.
Despite the score Edinboro had multiple attempts in the game. The Fighting Scots registered 20 attempts in the game, the second quarter saw Edinboro have eight attempts to Gannon's five but were unable to take advantage.
Caroline Zentis and
Rylee Jones lead the team in attempts with Jones having six and Zentis having five.
Rylee Jones was added two goals to her season tally, making it 25 goals for the season in her freshmen year.
Caroline Zentis also scored her 13th goal of the season, whilst
Kenna Sinisgalli scored her second of the season.
Savannah Fischer made another eight saves in the game, taking her total to 64 on the season.
Up next for Edinboro is a trip to Slippery Rock on April 5th for a 4 p.m. start.
