Edinboro, Pa. – Edinboro dropped a 21-2 result away at Slippery Rock on Thursday evening.
The Fighting Scots found it tough going on the attacking front in terms of shots and scoring chances. Edinboro had two shots registered in the game with two finding the back of the net.
The scorer on the day for Edinboro was none other than the Freshmen standout in the PSAC
Rylee Jones. Jone netted her 26th of the season towards the end of the first quarter, before adding her 27th of the season early in the fourth.
Savannah Fischer added another six saves to her season tally with three coming in the first.
Groundballs proved to be a close contest with Edinboro registering 17 to Slippery Rock's 20.
Abigail Juzwick was the team leader for Edinboro in groundballs with six in the game.
