Canton, Ohio – The Edinboro women's soccer team peppered the net but dropped a 1-0 decision on the road at Malone Saturday in the Scots final nonconference game of the season.
 
The games only goal came 1:46 into the contest when Brynn Mowrer finished an Ashton Gracie pass giving Malone the 1-0 advantage.
 
Malone would muster just one more shot on goal for the rest of the game, but the Pioneer keeper Amelia Henderhan made 10 saves to secure the win.
 
The Scots tallied 14 total shots with 10 on net. Reece Enochs and Emily Vogel each tallied three shots with Vogel putting two on net. Maggie Hays and Sarah Tomko each notched two shots on goal.
 
Kaylee Lauriel took the loss in net making one save and allowing one goal.
 
The Scots return to action on Wednesday when they host Gannon at 6 p.m. inside Sox Harrison Stadium in the PSAC West opener for both teams.
