Johnstown, Pa. – The Edinboro women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Pitt-Johnstown Saturday afternoon in PSAC West action.
Megan Dietz gave UPJ a 1-0 lead in the 24
th minute when she finished a Sophia Lamesta pass.
It was
Emily Vogel that scored the equalizer just over four minutes later assisted by
Teaghan Watkins.
Each team generated chances but the final 62 minutes would pass without another goal.
The Scot generated 11 shots with seven on goal while UPJ took 14 shots, but only six on goal.
Vogel's goal was her fifth of the season and she generated four shots, three on target to lead the Scot offense.
Maggie Hays and
Jenna Jackson each tallied two shots.
Kaylee Lauriel made five saves.
The Scots return home on Wednesday when they host Mercyhurst at Sox Harrison Stadium at 6 p.m.
