Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's soccer team out shot Mercyhurst, but fell 1-0 Wednesday night at Sox Harrison Stadium in PSAC West action.

The teams were deadlocked late into the second half before Karah Van Horn crossed a ball in to Camile Bultel in the 81st minute for the only score of the game.

The Scots out shot Mercyhurst 11-7 and put seven shots on goal to the Lakers six. 

Jenna Jackson led the offensive effort for Edinboro tallying five shots, three on goal while Emily Vogel put a pair of shots on net.

Maddie Elbro made seven saves for the Lakers while Scot keeper Kaylee Lauriel made four stops in net.

The Scots are back in action on Friday when they host IUP at 6:30 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium.
