Johnstown, Pa. – The Edinboro soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to host Pitt-Johnstown Saturday afternoon at Richland High School.
Sophia Lamesta put the Mountain Cats ahead in the seventh minute on a penalty kick. Haley Neidig extended the lead to 2-0 with a tally in the 23
rd minute.
UPJ took the 2-0 lead into the half. Lamesta picked up an insurance tally on another penalty kick in the 87
th minute.
The Scots outshot UPJ 14-12, but couldn't get a ball behind Emma Morin.

Sophia Depew and
Teaghan Watkins each tallied a pair of shots for the Scots.
Sandra Malave made four saves taking the loss in net.
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they host IUP at 5 p.m. on Senior Day.
