Lock Haven, Pa. -- Edinboro standout linebacker Wilfredo Diaz earned his third selection as the PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week after another stellar performance on Saturday.

Diaz racked up 18 tackles including seven solo stops as the Scots earned a 24-22 victory over Seton Hill Saturday afternoon at Sox Harrison Stadium. The Scot defense held Seton Hill's running game in check including holding last week's PSAC West Offensive Player of the Week Ky'Ron Craggette to his lowest rushing total of the season just 63 yards. Diaz made 2.5 tackles for loss and recorded a sack to go along with a forced fumble and a pass breakup.

Diaz currently leads all of Division II in tackles averaging 13.8 per contest and raks ninth in the country in solo tackles averaging 6.0 per contest. 

The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they travel to California for a noon kickoff with the Vulcans.
