Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's lacrosse team defeated visiting Malone 13-2 Tuesday night in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Sox Harrison Stadium.

How It Happened

• The Scots came out of the gate fast with Angelina Anderson scoring just 53 seconds into the contest.
• Anderson assisted Rylee Jones on the next two tallies and Olivia Kamisky scored on a free position to make it 4-0 after one.
• Jacqui Detelich scored twice in the second as the Scots built an 8-0 lead heading to the break.
• The Scots outscored the Pioneers 5-1 in the third to go up 13-1. Seanna McDougall scored the only goal of the fourth to set the final.

Statistical Leaders

• Anderson had a career-day picking up six points on two goals and four assists.
• Detelich notched a team-high three goals on six shots. 
• Jones added seven ground balls to her pair of goals. 
• Lexi Boyk led the defensive effort with eigth caused turnovers and seven groundballs.

• Addy Ours made six saves allowing one goal in three quarters of work in the cage to pick up the win.
• Sydney Kosko allowed just one goal in the fourth to close out the win.
