Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's lacrosse team fell 21-5 to visiting Lock Haven Saturday afternoon in PSAC West action inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
 
How it Happened
After Traci Culver tied the game at 1-1 at 13:59 of the first quarter, the Bald Eagles scored the next four to pull ahead 5-1. Angelina Anderson scored just before the horn went off to end the quarter to cut the Lock Haven lead to 5-2.
 
Lock Haven scored the first four goals of the second to go up 9-2 before Marissa Birchard finished a Rylee Jones pass to stop the Bald Eagle run and cut the lead to 9-3. Lock Haven finished the half with five straight goals to take a 14-3 lead into the locker room.
 
In the second half, the Bald Eagles lead grew to 19-3 before Jacqui Detelich scored twice, both assisted by Jones to cut the lead to 19-5. Lock Haven scored twice late in the fourth to set the final.
 
Statistical Leaders
Jones and Detelich each tallied three points. Detelich recorded two goals and an assist while Jones dished out three helpers. Birchard, Culver and Anderson each scored a goal. Addy Ours made eight saves and took the loss in the cage.

The Scots are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Mercyhurst. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
