Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's lacrosse team dropped a 22-4 decision to visting Slippery Rock Wednesday afternoon in PSAC West action.
How it Happened
Rylee Jones gave the Scots a 1-0 lead with an unassisted tally just 1:53 into the contest. The Rock scored the next eight goals to hold an 8-1 lead at the 5:44 mark of the first.
Jacqui Detelich stopped the run with a marker assisted by Jones. Slippery Rock scored the next eight goals to take a 16-2 lead into the half.
The Rock outscored the Scots 3-1 in each of the third and fourth quarters to set the final.

Jones paced the Edinboro offense with two points on a goal and an assist. Detelich,
Traci Culver and
Olivia Kaminsky each tallied a goal for the Scots.
Addy Ours made 10 saves on the day and took the loss after 45 minutes in net.
Sydney Kosko picked up her first save of the season in relief.
