Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's lacrosse team fell 19-6 to visiting Seton Hill Saturday afternoon in PSAC West action inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
How it Happened
Seton Hill built a 2-0 lead early on goals by Grace Agnello and Ruby DePalma, but
Traci Culver netted an unassisted tally at the 11:35 mark to cut the lead to 2-1 with 11:35 left in the first quarter.
The Griffins scored five straight before
Jacqui Detelich found
Angelina Anderson at 2:35 of the first to stop the run and trim the advantage to 7-2. Seton Hill scored the final seven goals of the first half to take a 14-2 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, the Griffin lead grew to 18-2.
Lexi Boyk scored on a free position sparking a 4-0 run to get within 18-6 before Carley O'Mara scored for Seton Hill to set the final.
Statistical Leaders
Anderson paced the Edinboro offense with a pair of goals. Detelich also scored two points on a goal and an assist.
Rylee Jones, Culver and Boyk each notched one goal. With her five saves,
Addy Ours reached 100 saves for the season.
