Slippery Rock, Pa. -- The Edinboro lacrosse team dropped a 24-4 decision to host Slippery Rock in PSAC West action on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened
The Scots got on the board first on a goal by Jacqui Detelich just 38 seconds into the contest. The Rock scored nine straight to take a 9-1 advantage after one. The run continued in the second with Slippery Rock scoring the first five goals of the frame. Rylee Jones stopped the run with a goal at the 3:41 mark and sending the teams into the half with The Rock up 14-2.

In the second half, the Slippery Rock lead grew to 18-2 before Jones notched her second tally of the game with 3:30 on the clock in the third. Slippery Rock scored the next six goals to extend the advantage to 24-3. Angelina Anderson wrapped up the scoring with an unassisted tally with 1:32 to play.

Stat Leaders
Jones paced the Edinboro offense with her pair of goals on two shots. She also tallied three groundballs and two caused turnovers. Detelich and Anderson each picked up a point on goals while Lexi Boyk picked up an assist.

Addy Ours started in the cage making nine saves in 38 minutes of work while Sydney Kosko picked up a save in 22 minutes of relief.
