Erie, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's soccer team fell 5-0 to host Gannon Wednesday night in the PSAC West opener for both teams.

Brooklyn Respecki got the Golden Knights on the board in the seventh minute  and then extended the lead with her second tally of the game in the 22nd minute.

Ella Fadale and June Monasterio each scored before the half to send Gannon into the locker room up 4-0. Respecki added an insurance goal in the 65th minute to set the final.

Addison Thomas and Devin Keidel each tallied a shot for Edinboro. Kaylee Lauriel started in net making four saves before Sandra Malave came in after the half making three stops.

The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they host California (PA) at 1 p.m. inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
