Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro soccer team fell 3-1 to visiting California (PA) Saturday afternoon in PSAC West play inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
 
The Vulcans got on the board first on a goal by Veronica Warunek assisted by Lorina Romeis in the ninth minute. Ida Zakrisson added to the lead with an unassisted tally in the 16^th minute.
 
Reece Enochs got the Scots on the board. After making the pass across to Kylee Cross, Enochs cleaned up a rebound off the Cross shot for her second tally of the season.
 
Cal pushed the lead to 3-1 on an Ashley Wilson goal assisted by Zakrisson in the 24^th minute. Each team had chances in the second half, but the 3-1 final would stand.
 
Shots were even 9-9 with the Vulcans holding a 7-4 edge on shots on goal. The Scots held a 7-3 advantage on corner kicks.
 
The Scots are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Clarion. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
