Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's swim team dropped a 107-73 PSAC dual to visiting Shippensburg Friday afternoon inside McComb Fieldhouse.
In the men's opening event,
Braden Hain,
Jake Hillibush,
Elijah Innis and
Frank Barger teamed up to win the 200-yard medley relay to take first with a time of 1:38.69.
Tommy Collins grabbed a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.46.
Frank Barger followed that up with a time of 22.57 in the 50-freestyle to take second.
In the 200 individual medley, Chrisian Connell swam a 2:07.53 to take third. In the 100-butterfly, Innis touched the wall in 52.55 take first. Collins was third with a time of 53.54. Collins also grabbed a third-place finish in the 500-freestyle with a time of 5:11.84.
Hain earned a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle with a time of 48.53. Connell tallied a first-place finish in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:01.30. Hillibush earned second-place points with a time of 1:02.87.
The Edinboro 200-freestyle relay team of Hain,
Adrian Fikry Reina, Innis and Barger closed out the meet with a first-place swim in a time of 1:28.17.
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they swim against Allegheny inside McComb Fieldhouse. The meet is slated for 1 p.m.
