Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's swim team dropped a 133.5-64.5 decision to visiting Clarion as part of the PennWest Duals on Saturday inside McComb Fieldhouse.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Edinboro took the top two spots with
Elijah Innis taking first in a time of 52.69.
Tommy Collins checked in with a time of 53.30 to grab second place.
Adrian Fikry Reina also grabbed a first-place finish with a time of 48.00 in the 100-freestyle. Hain was third in the 100-free with a time of 48.35.
The 200-medley relay team of
Braden Hain,
Jake Hillibush, Innis and
Frank Barger teamed up for a time of 1:36.86 good for second.
Collins added a second-place finish in the 200-freestyle with a time of 1:47.79. He also picked up a second-place finish in the 500-freestyle finishing in 5:05.84. Hillibush posted a time of 59.48 in the 100-breaststroke to take a second-place finish of his own.
Barger sprinted his way to second in the 50-freestyle touching the wall in 22.01.
Matthew Shollenberger added a third-place swim in the 100-backstroke with a time of 56.84.
The Scots closed out the meet with first-place swim in the 200-freestyle relay with Innis, Hain, Reina and Barger touching the wall in 1:26.23.
The Scots close out the regular season on Friday with a 6 p.m. dual against Gannon.
