Swimming Opens 2025 with Pair of Dual Meets on the Weekend

Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro swim teams return to action for the first time in 2025 with a pair of dual meets inside McComb Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday.
 
The Meets
Edinboro hosts Shippensburg on Friday in a PSAC dual meet slated for 1 p.m. Fans can watch Friday's meet on the PSAC Digital Network.
 
On Saturday, the Scots play host to Allegheny at 1 p.m. inside McComb Fieldhouse.
 
Last Time Out
The last time the Fighting Scots hit the pool, the women's squad finished third at the Wooster Invitational. The Edinboro top relay team set a pair of pool records. Katelyn Reott moved into third on the Edinboro all-time list in the 50-freestyle.
 
The men's team also swam last at the Wooster Invitational. The Scots were fifth overall at Wooster. Tommy Collins claimed a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly.
 
Home Sweet Home
This is the first home meet for the Scots since an Oct. 18 dual against Westminster. The Scots have one home date left after the coming weekend when they host the PennWest Duals on Jan. 18.
