Indiana, Pa. – The Edinboro men's swim team opened up the 2025-26 season at the Crimson Hawk Invitational and Sprint Frenzy on Friday.
Braden Hain, Caleb Ludlow, Andrew Kettler and Rafael DeSousa opened the Invitational with a third-place finish in the 400-medley relay with a time of 3:34.58.
Ludlow posted a time of 2:02.97 in the 200-medley to place second. Kettler used a time of 52.70 in the 100-butterfly to grab a second-place finish of his own. Cade Tysinger was fourth in the 100-fly with a time of 54.17.
In the 200-freestyle, DeSousa turned in a 1:49.90 to place fifth. Hain added a second-place finish in the 100-backstroke with a time of 54.29. Brian Bell added a 57.23 to take fifth.
Ludlow touched the wall in 1:00.93 to place fourth in the 100-breaststroke.
Christian Connell was right behind him placing fifth with a time of 1:01.00.
Hain, Tysinger, Kettler and DeSousa wrapped up the Invitational with a third-place 400-freestyle relay time of 3:17.43.
In the Sprint Frenzy, Hain,
Jake Hillibush, Kettler and DeSousa opened with a time of 1:38.74 in the 200-medley relay to place second.
Hillibush took third in the 50-breaststroke with a time of 27.90. Hain added third-place swim in the 50-freestyle with a time of 22.11.
Kettler posted a time of 24.03 in the 50-butterfly to earn second. Bell finished fourth in the 50-backstroke in a time of 26.85.
Hain, Tysinger,
Kasey Stanton and Kettler closed out the Sprint Frenzy with a time of 1:30.12 in the 200-free relay.
