Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's swim team tallied a 117-103 victory over Ashland on Friday night inside McComb Fieldhouse.
In the opening swim of the night,
Braden Hain,
Caleb Ludlow,
Andrew Ketler and Rafael DeSousa placed first in the 400-medley relay with a time of 3:32.46. Brian Bell,
Jake Hillibush,
Cade Tysinger and
Tyler Hill were third in a time of 3:41.20.
Troy Hickman earned third-place points in the 1000-freestyle posting a time of 10:50.54. DeSousa swam a 1:46.47 to place first in the 200-freestyle. Bell was third in a time of 1:52.95. In the 50-free Hain grabbed first-place with a time of 21.44.
Elijah Innis posted a time of 22.33 to take second.
Caleb Ludlow touched the wall in 2:01.43 in the 200-IM taking first.
Christian Connell was third in the IM with a time of 2:06.34. Ketler posted a time of 1:58.08 to take first place in the 200-butterfly. Tysinger added a third-place swim in a time of 2:02.11.
Innis brought home a first-place finish in the 100-freestyle with a time of 49.43. In the 200-backstroke Bell posted a time of 2:03.32 to place third.
DeSousa was first in the 500-free posting a time of 4:57.60 while Hickman was third finishing in 5:17.97. Connell and Ludlow went one-two in the 200-breaststroke in times of 2:12.47 and 2:14.60 respectively.
The Scots quartet of Ketler, Tysinger, Innis and Hain closed out the meet with a time of 3:15.73 in the 400-free relay good for second.
The Scots are back in action on November 1 when they travel to Kutztown for a 4 p.m. meet with the Golden Bears.
