Lock Haven, Pa. -- Sunday Ikegwuonu earned PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week honors announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Ikegwuonu was pivotal in the Scots defensive effort as the Scots scored a 41-20 victory over Gannon on . All three of his tackles came behind the line of scrimmage finishing with 2.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.

He forced two fumbles including a sack fumble that he recovered at the 1-yard line setting up the Scots second touchdown of the day. He also batted down one pass at the line of scrimmage.
