Fairmont, W.Va. – The Edinboro men's basketball team will open their 2025-26 season at the Joe Retton Classic Friday and Saturday.
 
The Games
The Scots take on Salem University in the opening game on Friday at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Edinboro takes on host Fairmont State at 8 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on Mountain East TV and live stats will be available.
 
Returning Production
Edinboro returns one of their top six scorers from a year ago. Evan Berger started 27 of 28 games and averaged 10.6 points per game. Bryce Baez tallied 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest.
 
PSAC Preseason Poll
The Edinboro men's basketball team was tabbed sixth in the PSAC West Preseason Coaches' Poll announced by the conference office on Thursday. The Scots finished third in the West a year ago with a 15-13 overall record and 11-9 mark in conference play.
