Cleveland -- Edinboro wrestling 149-pounder Ryan Michaels was named MAC Eastern Division Wrestler of the Week on Tuesday.

Michaels had a strong showing at the Tri-State Santa Slam at Kent State. Michaels opened with a 16-3 major decision over Bellarmine's Zac Cowan.

In the dual with Kent State, Michaels notched a 21-6 tech fall over Silas Stits.
