Morgan Gentile added to her growing list of accolades as she was named a Women's Basketball Coaches' Association Honorable Mention All-American on Thursday. Fighting Scot head coach
Callie Wheeler was announced as one of eight finalists for WBCA Coach of the Year.
Gentile was the PSAC West Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection. She was a second-team All-Atlantic Region selection by D2CCA.Â
On the year, Gentile averaged 15.4 points while leading the PSAC with 4.6 assists per game. Gentile was also seventh in the PSAC with 2.29 steals per game. In her career, she has 1,113 points, 388 rebounds and 253 assists.
Wheeler led the Scots to the PSAC West Regular Season Championship. She took the Scots to the PSAC Championship and the top seed in the Atlantic Regional Tournament. Edinboro finished 25-7 the most wins in a single season since they went 27-4 in the 2017-18 season.
