Tigerville, S.C. – The Edinboro women's lacrosse team dropped an 18-3 decision to host North Greenville Wednesday night.
 
The Trailblazers came out of the gate fast outscoring the Scots 6-0 in the first quarter led by a pair of goals from Ava Walls.
 
North Greenville extended the lead to 10-0 at the 6:27 mark of the second on a Lauren Crane tally. Marissa Birchard scored a woman-up goal with 2:13 left in the first half assisted by Haylee Wilson. Angelina Anderson cut the lead to 10-2 with a goal with 1:28 on the clock. Kami Straub scored 27 seconds later to send the Trailblazers into the half up 11-2.
 
In the second half, North Greenville scored the first four goals to extend their advantage to 14-2 with 3:20 to play in the third quarter. Birchard scored her second of the contest with 1:11 to play to make it 14-3 after three quarters.
 
In the final frame, North Greenville notched four insurance tallies to set the final.
 
Birchard's pair of goals led the offense on three shots with one groundball and one caused turnover. Rylee Jones tallied an assist. Her four draw controls put her just two shy of the Edinboro record.
 
The Scots return to action on Thursday, March 13 when they travel to Malone for a 4 p.m. contest with the Pioneers.
