Lock Haven, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's soccer team was selected seventh in the annual Preseason Coahces' Poll announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Offensive Returners
The Scots will need to replace their top two offensive performers from a season ago. Emily Vogel is Edinboro's top returning scorer after netting three goals for six points. Samantha Saylor added six points with two goals and two assists. Teaghan Watkins added five points on a goal and three assists.

Defensive Returners
Edinboro brings back experience on the backend led by senior Madison Felton.  Sandra Malave made 10 starts in net recording a 5-4-1 record with a .714 save percentage and 1.89 goals against average.

 Season Opener
The Scots open the season at Lake Erie on Sept. 4. The home opener is Saturday Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. against Ursuline.
