Pittsburgh, Pa. – Jada Cole scored her third goal of the season helping the Edinboro women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Point Park Wednesday night in non-conference action at Highmark Stadium.
 
In the 17^th minute, Emily Vogel played a ball through the Pioneer defense. Cole ran down the pass and shot to the lower left past a sprawling keeper to give the Scots a 1-0 lead.
 
In the second half, Point Park pushed back in the second half but Edinboro preserved the shutout to take home the victory.
 
The Pioneers held a 25-13 advantage on the shot counter, but only a 9-7 edge in shots on goal.
 
Brianna Garey made nine saves between the pipes for the Scots scoring her second straight shutout.
 
The Scots open PSAC West play on Saturday when they travel to Slippery Rock. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
