Frostburg, Md. – The Edinboro women's wrestling team closes out their inaugural season on Saturday at the Bobcat Open hosted by Frostburg State.
The Match
The Bobcat Open begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and will be broadcast on Mountain East TV. There will be two streams, one for
mats 1 & 3 and another for
mats 2 & 4. Fans can also follow live action on
FloWrestling.
Last Time Out
Braylin Jones finished seventh at 138 to lead the Edinboro women's wrestling team at the John Carroll Open. Jones opened her day with a fall over Washington & Jefferson's Kenzie Phasupong in just 47 seconds. In her second match she dropped a 14-4 tech fall to Norah Mooney of John Carroll.
In her first consolation match, Jones notched a 12-1 tech fall over Siena Palmisciano of Baldwin Wallace. Ryen Allen of Alma College scored a fall over Jones to send her to the seventh-place match. In that match, Jones needed just 19 seconds to pin Alfred State's Christina Paluzzi to take seventh.
Heidi Gordon also competed for the Scots. She dropped her opener by fall to Point Park's Callyn Casto. In her second match, Gordon dropped a 13-2 tech fall to Bella Cyrklel of John Carroll.

Both Jones and Gordon will be in action at the Bobcat Open.
