Cleveland – Edinboro 184-pounder
Jared McGill had his season come to an end on Friday morning in session three of the NCAA Championships.
McGill took on fourth seeded James Conway of Franklin & Marshall in the second consolation round.
After a scoreless first period, McGill chose to go down to start the second. Conway was able to ride out the period to build two minutes of riding time.
Conway chose down and McGill moved to neutral to make it 1-0 in favor of the Diplomat. Conway scored a take down to extend the lead to 4-1. McGill escaped, but another late take down for Conway and the riding time point made it 8-1.
