Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's lacrosse team fell 25-0 to visiting No. 7 Slippery Rock Wednesday afternoon in PSAC West action inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
The Rock came out and scored 11 goals in the first quarter and followed it up with five in the second not take a 16-0 lead into the half.
The Scots tallied six shots in the second half, but couldn't find a way past the Slippery Rock keepers. The Rock scored nine goals in the second half to set the final.
Rylee Jones led the Scots with five shots including a pair of shots on net.
Natalia Farr added two shots. Defensively,
Charlee Wastchak caused a pair of turnovers.
Addy Ours made 10 saves playing the first half and taking the loss in net.
The Scots return to action at 5 p.m. on Saturday when they host No. 21 Seton Hill.
