Women’s Lacrosse Drops PSAC West Contest to Seton Hill

GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Edinboro women's lacrosse team fell 24-3 to host Seton Hill in PSAC West action Saturday afternoon.
 
The Griffins took a 2-0 lead with 11:10 left in the opening quarter with goals from Sydney Marusko and Carley O'Mara. Natalia Farr put Edinboro on the board scoring unassisted at the 10:42 mark of the first.
 
Seton Hill went on a 5-0 run capped by an Elena Traficante tally with 1:11 remaining in the opening frame. Liza Bonderchuk scored with 37 seconds to go in the first to cut the lead to 7-2.
 
Makenna Twobly scored the first goal of the second and Farr answered to pull the Scots within 8-3. Seton Hill scored the next six goals to take a 14-3 lead into the half.
 
The Griffins tightened up defensively in the second half keeping Edinboro off the board while scoring 10 goals of their own to set the final.
 
Farr led the Edinboro offense with three points on two goals and one assist while taking six shots and five on frame. She also added two groundballs and two draw controls. Addy Ours took the loss in net making 12 saves.
 
The Scots return to action on Wednesday when they host Gannon at 4 p.m. inside Sox Harrison Stadium.
