EDINBORO, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2012) – The Edinboro Fighting Scots women's tennis team downed visiting East Stroudsburg 5-4 today in PSAC tennis action.  Oranza Carrillo, RyAnne' Baldwin, and Jaclyn Piscsalko all earned individual victories for Edinboro as they move to 3-1 on the season.

Carrillo easily downed East Stroudsburg's Amina Dickson 6-0, 6-0 to get the first victory for Edinboro.  Piscsalko was victorious 6-1, 6-0 over Liz Longenhagen for the second victory and Baldwin took home a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Allison Bean for the Fighting Scots. 

In doubles action, Baldwin and Kendal Stevens were able to defeat East Stroudsburg's Bean and Annie Vega 8-2 while Margaret Erven and her partner Lydia Browne brought home an 8-3 victory over Taylor Presby and Belinda Nguyen. 

Edinboro welcomes Shippensburg University tomorrow for a 9 a.m. match.  Edinboro improves to 3-1 and 1-1 in the PSAC West while East Stroudsburg falls to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the PSAC West.
