STORYLINE
Edinboro will look for its second straight victory when it welcomes Roberts Wesleyan to Sox Harrison Stadium on Wednesday. The Fighting Scots knocked off Mercyhurst, 3-0, in its last time out this past Saturday. In that game, Karisa Fernandez scored within the first four minutes and Liz Debo added a pair of second half goals to help the Boro to a win over its local rival. Wednesday's match will mark the first-ever meeting between Edinboro and Roberts Wesleyan.

SCOTS ADD TO SHUTOUT TOTAL
Edinboro's 3-0 victory over Mercyhurst last Saturday marked the fifth shutout for the Fighting Scots in eight matches this season.  On Saturday, Mary Murray earned the first start of her career and worked a scoreless first half in net. Meghan Kelly then completed the team shutout by playing the second half. The team record for shutouts is 10, set by last season's squad.

SETTING THE PACE
Sophomore Liz Debo has been out to a tremendous beginning to the 2012 season, putting herself among the PSAC leaders in multiple offensive categories. Entering this week's play, Debo's seven goals are the most in the PSAC while she also leads the conference in points with 16 and she is tied for the lead in game-winning goals with Bloomsburg's Tara Huber (2). Her seven goals tie the total she posted as a freshman while the 16 points are a new career high, eclipsing the 14 she had a year ago.

FINAL NON-CONFERENCE MATCH
Tonight Edinboro goes out of conference to face Roberts Wesleyan of the National Christian College Athletic Association and is in its second year of transitioning to NCAA Division II. Edinboro has eight matches remaining on its regular season schedule and all of those contests will be against PSAC foes as the Fighting Scots fight for a playoff spot.

ABOUT ROBERTS WESLEYAN
The Redhawks enter Wednesday's action at 7-3 on the season  following a loss at LIU Post, 3-0 on Sunday. That loss continued a trend of struggling on the road this season. Roberts Wesleyan is just 1-3 on the road so far, but are a perfect 4-0 when playing on home turf. The Redhawks boast a young roster with just three seniors – including goalkeeper Breanna Maggio. The Redhawks are led offensively by junior Brittany Kinmond who has six goals on the season, just ahead of freshman Brittany Houghton's five. Maggio has seen the lion's share of time in net, playing eight of nine matches with a 1.43 GAA. The Redhawks have posted a strong record despite being outshot on the season, 108-94 thanks to an offense which has averaged 2.75 goals per game.

UP NEXT
Wednesday is the second of four straight home matches for the Fighting Scots. Two key PSAC contests are on tap as Edinboro welcomes Kutztown on Saturday at 1 p.m. Edinboro then closes its homestand with California (Pa.) next Wednesday.
