Box Score (New/Sortable Format) EDINBORO, Pa. (October 26, 2013) – With the season winding down, the Edinboro women's soccer team was able to continue its string of success with a 3-0 victory over Mansfield. The Fighting Scots are now 8-1-1 over their last ten matches and improves to 11-4-1 overall and 9-4-1 in the PSAC. The Mountaineers fall to 4-10-1 overall, 3-10-1 in conference.
Edinboro notched two goals early in the contest. Within the first ten minutes of the game,
Liz Debo and
Jansen Hartmann were each able to score. Debo's goal came on a breakaway at the 7:10 mark and then less than two minutes later Debo was able to feed the ball inside the box where Hartmann finished it. It was Debo's team-leading tenth goal of the season and Hartmann's third. The Fighting Scots were able to tack on an insurance goal during the 81
st minute, when
Becca Costello corralled a rebound and hit it with her left foot over the goalie's outstretched hands to give Edinboro the final score of 3-0. It was Costello's sixth goal of the season.
The day was also significant because it was Breast Cancer Awareness Day and Senior Day. The team wore pink jerseys in support of the Susan G. Koman Foundation and also honored senior goalkeeper
Mary Murray before the game.
The Fighting Scots host East Stroudsburg this upcoming Thursday, October 26. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. and is Edinboro's second to last game of the season (also play November 2 at West Chester). A tie in either of the last two contests clinches a PSAC Tournament appearance for the Fighting Scots.

Meghan Kelly recorded her sixth shutout of the season, tying the school record for most in a single season. Kelly achieved the feat last year as well and has an 11-4-1 record.

Liz Debo has now recorded the 14
th double-digit goal season in Edinboro history. She is also only the fifth player in school history to record multiple double-digit goals in their career.
· Debo now also has 31 career goals, which ties her fourth all-time with Angie De Almeida. She trails current assistant coach
Jamie Sallie, formerly Jamie Tekotte, by six goals for the all-time mark.
· Debo also has 68 career points now, which moves him ahead of Cara Peyton for seventh all-time.

th career goal which now places her 15
th all-time.
