CLARION, PA – Behind
Oranza Carrillo's 16
th singles win of the season, Edinboro improved to 14-6 with a 7-2 win at Clarion on Sunday afternoon. Carrillo was a double winner for Edinboro, taking a doubles match 8-4, and a singles match 6-0, 6-1.
RyAnne' Baldwin moved to 16-6 on the season with a 6-4, 7-6 (6-3) win over Madeline Robinson.
Kendal Stephens (6-3, 6-2),
Nevena Kulina (6-3, 6-4), and
Lydia Browne (6-0, 6-2) each collected singles victories for the Fighting Scots.
Baldwin and Stephens defeated Megan Bettwy and Caitlin Clemons in doubles action, 8-5. Carrillo and Browne won their match 8-4.
Edinboro has just one match remaining in the regular season, an April 9 meeting with Mercyhurst at home starting at 2 p.m.
