EDINBORO, PA – The Edinboro women's tennis team took a tough loss to rival Mercyhurst on a beautiful spring day in Edinboro, 9-0. The Lakers, ranked fifth in the Atlantic Region by NCAA.com, improve to 14-3 on the season, while Edinboro drops to 14-7.

Oranza Carrillo put a scare into Caroline Bristol, who is ranked fifth in the Atlantic Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, taking the first set in their singles match 6-3. Bristol rebounded and took a hard-fought second set 6-4 before sealing the deal with a 10-8 third set victory.
Edinboro finishes the regular season with a 14-7 record overall and a 1-4 record in the PSAC West.
