HILTON HEAD ISLAND (March 16, 2014) – The Edinboro women's tennis team kicked off its spring break trip to Hilton Head Island, SC with a 6-1 victory over Benedict College on Sunday afternoon. The no. 1 and 2 singles matches were not finished in the contest. The Fighting Scots move to 6-5 on the season with the win, while Benedict drops to 3-7.

Ryanne' Baldwin and Raquel Holiday picked up wins in singles play at the no. 3 and 4 spots, respectively, while Baldwin and doubles partner Hellstern collected an 8-0 victory at no. 2 doubles.

Edinboro received forfeit wins at no. 5 and 6 singles and no. 3 doubles.

The Fighting Scots take on the University of Pikeville on March 18. The match is slated to begin at 8 a.m. in Hilton Head Island, SC.
