Edinboro Earns Split With Fairmont State on Payne’s Late Go-Ahead Homerun

Fairmont State struck first with a run in the opening frame, before

 (0-4) was saddled with the loss for Edinboro, going 3.1 innings and allowing seven runs on seven hits. Weaver struck out one and walked one.

Alesha Jones earned the win for Fairmont State, working five innings and surrendering two runs on four hits for the Falcons.

The Fighting Scots' PSAC doubleheaders at Indiana (Pa.) and Clarion originally scheduled for Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22 have been postponed due to weather.

The games at Clarion have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 26. The first game of the doubleheader is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. No makeup date has been scheduled with the Crimson Hawks.
