CHARLESTON, WV (March 29, 2014) – The Edinboro women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to host Charleston (WV) on Saturday afternoon in Charleston, WV. The Fighting Scots fall to 8-8 on the season, while the Golden Eagles improve to 12-8.
Oranza Carrillo picked up a pair of victories with 6-7, 6-0, 10-7 win by tiebreaker over Ana Maria Pena at no. 1 singles and an 8-6 triumph at no. 1 doubles with partner
Raquel Holiday over Pena and Kelsey Hensley.
Julia Hellstern earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory at no. 2 singles over Hensley, while Holiday collected a 7-6, 6-0 win at no. 4 singles over Jackie Bakos.
Edinboro returns right back to action tomorrow at West Virginia State at 10 a.m.
