The Rock plated two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, before adding another score in the fifth. 

Claire Johnston suffered the loss for Edinboro, allowing three runs (two earned) in four innings of work. Johnstown struck out two batters to go along with two walks. 

Samantha Weaver tossed two scoreless innings of relief to close the game for the Fighting Scots. 

Edinboro hosts Indiana (Pa.) in its home-opening twinbill on Friday afternoon. The first game is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. in Edinboro.
