With the loss, the Fighting Scots have now dropped four of their last five games. • The Fighting Scots have won five consecutive games against the Golden Eagles, who have lost three straight games coming into Saturday's matchup.• Henri Wade-Chatman ranks second in the PSAC in scoring at 19.1 points per game, while Jaymon Mason sits 14th in the conference at 14.3 markers per contest. Mason has paced Edinboro in scoring in each of the last two games, averaging 18.0 points per game in those contests. The redshirt freshman ranks fourth in the PSAC in free throw percentage, shooting 88.6 percent from the charity stripe on the season. • Tommy Scales and Casey Baker are tied for 13th in the PSAC in rebounding at 6.4 boards per game. • Edinboro ranks fourth in the PSAC in scoring offense at 76.4 points per game and third in the league in 3-point field goal percentage at 39.1 percent on the season. Clarion paces the conference and ranks fifth in NCAA Division II with 12.2 steals per game. • The Fighting Scots are 6-2 at home this season and 1-7 on the road. • Edinboro has won five consecutive meetings between the two teams, with Clarion's last victory coming during the 2011-12 campaign.
• Saturday marks the 168th meeting between the Fighting Scots and Golden Eagles. Edinboro has faced Clarion more than any other team with the exception of California (Pa.) (169 games).

2/26/14 - Edinboro 98, Clarion 90
• With the Fighting Scots holding a 73-63 lead with 11:57 to play in the game, Edinboro used a 12-2 run fueled by Henri Wade-Chatman's seven points to gain their largest lead of the game of 20 points at 85-65 with just under nine minutes remaining.
• The Fighting Scots owned a 19-point advantage with 2:34 to play, before Clarion finished the game on a 15-4 run, but it was too late as the Fighting Scots capped the 2013-14 season with the win.
• Wade-Chatman paced the Fighting Scots with 28 points to match a season-high. Bryan Theriot posted a double-double with 25 points and a game-high 11 rebounds in the winning effort.
• Xavier Churnac and Johnathan Logan dropped in 12 and 11 points, respectively, while Jonny Marsh added 10 markers on the night.
• Mike Kromka reached 1,000 career points in the game, notching a double-double with a game-high 34 points and ten rebounds to lead four Golden Eagles in double figures.
• DeMarius Miller added 19 points, followed by Marques Jones and Aaron Johnson with 14 and 13 markers, respectively.
The Coaches
Edinboro - Pat Cleary (Edinboro '99)
• Cleary is in his second year as head coach of the Fighting Scots, leading Edinboro to an 17-25 record in that time.
• Cleary took over for his mentor Greg Walcavich, who spent 24 years at the helm of the Edinboro program.
• He previously worked as an assistant under Walcavich for 16 years, first as a student aide before becoming a full-time assistant coach.
• Cleary is credited for recruiting many of Edinboro's top contributors in recent years.
Clarion - Marcess Williams (La Roche '02)
• Williams is in his first seasaon in charge of the Golden Eagles after Clarion's all-time winningest coach Ron Righter retired after last season.
• Williams comes to Clarion after spending nine seasons as head coach at Penn State Beaver, where he led the Lions to at least 20 victories in each of the last six seasons.
• The New Brighton, Pa. native played basketball at La Roche College in Pittsburgh. He is the fourth all-time leading scorer in Redhawks history with 1,359 career points.
• He served as an assistant coach at La Roche from 2003-05 under the late Scott Lang, a 1997 Clarion graduate who played basketball for the Golden Eagles.

1/14/15 - #16 Indiana (Pa.) 79, Edinboro 69
• Trailing by seven points at 64-57 with 7:04 to play in the game, Edinboro rattled off five straight points, including jumpers by Will Marrow and Casey Baker to cut the Crimson Hawks' lead to two points at 64-62 with 4:42 remaining.
• IUP answered with an 8-2 run to build its lead to eight points at 72-64 with just over a minute to play.
• Edinboro would cut the deficit to five points at 74-69 with 33 seconds showing on the clock after a Tommy Scales jumper, but that was as close as the Fighting Scots would come as IUP knocked down 5-of-6 free throws from that point on, pulling away for the 10-point triumph.
• Jaymon Mason paced Edinboro with 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting. The redshirt freshman knocked down 3-of-7 shots from behind the arc and was a perfect 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.
• Henri Wade-Chatman was the only other Fighting Scot to score in double-figures on the night with 14 markers, connecting on 4-of-12 field goals, 1-of-3 3-pointers and 5-of-10 free throws. The Pittsburgh native also dished out a game-high five assists.
1/14/15 - Mercyhurst 69, Clarion 63
• After Clarion jumped out to a 28-23 haltime lead, Mercyhurst started the second half on an 10-2 run, gaining a 33-30 advantage with 16:39 to play in the game.
• The Golden Eagles clawed back to knot the game at 39-39 at the 13:08 mark, before the Lakers used a 13-4 spurt to take a 52-43 lead with 5:14 showing on the clock.
• Clarion would answer with seven straight points to cut the deficit to 52-50, however that was as close as the Golden Eagles would come, as the Lakers would build their lead to as many as nine points en route to the victory.
• BJ Andrews netted a game and career-high 21 points for Clarion to go with three rebounds.
• Darius Stevens tallied 11 points and a team-high six rebounds, while Kyheim Hall added nine points for the Golden Eagl.
